We have an exciting opportunity in the Central Region Right-of-Way Section, Acquisition Unit. The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities in Anchorage is seeking a dedicated individual for a permanent Right-of-Way (ROW) Agent 3 position within the Central Region Right-of-Way Section, Project Acquisition Unit.

The ROW section is the functional group expert on acquisitions to support highway, aviation, and public facility capital projects. The ROW Agent 3 position serves as a lead Right-of-Way Agent within the Acquisition and Relocation Unit and functions as the Project Agent for the department’s most complex ROW projects. This role is primarily assigned to consultant-led projects but may also manage in-house project assignments. The ROW Agent 3 provides leadership in coordinating consultant activities and supports the development, administration, and oversight of professional service agreements for ROW services.  The acquisition and relocation program is managed in accordance with the DOT&PF Alaska Right-of-Way Manual.

The Agent 3 is expected to apply advanced ROW knowledge, exercise sound judgment in complex negotiations, and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners. This position requires a high degree of independence, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
